Problem Note 30734: Filters might be ignored when viewing detail data

When viewing detail data in SAS® Web Report Studio or the Visual Data Explorer, the filter that has been added to the report might not be applied. This problem is most likely to occur if you display detail data from a total or subtotal row or column.
After applying the hotfix to SAS 9.1.3, or upgrading to the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M3), you should be able to drill-through correctly in most situations. However, by default, drill-through is disabled on totals. In order to enable drill-through on totals, add the following JVM parameter to your Web application server.
-DSASQueryServices.ShowDetailSelectiveOnTotalCell=true
